New Life Community Christian Church

Dennis was ordained into Christian Ministry on June 3, 1990. He served three churches during a ten year period. Prior to and following his formal ministry,  Dennis was a 30-year career law enforcement officer. He retired from law enforcement in 2014 where he was serving as Police Chief of Breckenridge, CO.  In 2023 Dennis agreed to serve as pastor for this congregation.   He has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Columbia College, Columbia, MO, a Master's Degree in Theology and Pastoral Care from St. Thomas Theological Seminary in Denver, CO, and a Ph.D. in theology and philosophy from Trinity Theological Seminary.   Dennis is a strong believer in the Christ-centered church. He understands that the foundation of the church is exclusively Jesus Christ as revealed through God's Word, the Bible.. Dennis has been married to his wife Lana for 41 years and together they have three children and five grandchildren. Dennis loves to play his guitar, is an avid mountain biker, hiker, van-lifer and pickleball player.
